The critically-acclaimed ITV drama ‘Cold Feet’ will see a return in 2018 on the back of a very strong seventh season.
Per ITV Press Release, Head of Drama Polly Hill has today confirmed a new series of the critically acclaimed comedy drama Cold Feet from creator Mike Bullen and award-winning producers Big Talk Productions.
Season 8 will be split into six, one hour episodes which will be aired weekly. Production is set to begin next spring in Manchester for broadcast later that year.
The UK’s love of Cold Feet didn’t fall during season 7 of the drama, averaging 5.1 million viewers per episode, it also received fantastic ratings, it’s no wonder why ITV haven’t waited in meriting the renewal.
Executive producer, Victoria Fea was the first to speak out on the renewal, she said:
“The nation’s love affair with Cold Feet continues, and we’re thrilled to announce a new series for 2018. Mike Bullen’s honest depiction of enduring friendship has a very special place in the audience’s affections.”
