‘Game Of Thrones’ To Shoot ‘Multiple’ Alternate Endings For Final Season

HBO programming chief Casey Bloys revealed in a recent interview that in the final season of the TV giant Game Of Thrones, the crew will film multiple endings in an attempt to deceive and counter spoilers.

We’ve seen this happen before, most notably for the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead. In TWD, the crew filmed a death scene for each individual character that was in danger of being beaten to death by Negan. Some alternate scenes were actually leaked online before the episode aired, and they proved to be dummy scenes deceiving many fans thoughts.

HBO will do the same with Game Of Thrones – a very good idea considering the amount of leaked scenes in season 7, not to mention the hackers. Do you trust HBO in protecting the final season from leaks and spoilers? Do you think the alternate endings will work as they did in The Walking Dead?

Read what the HBO programming chief Casey Bloys told EW below:

“I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

Once the final season of GoT ends, the franchise won’t be laid to rest, in fact far from it. HBO is working in conjunction with creator George RR Martin to create up-to 5 spin-off series. Some story-lines people would like to see are Robert’s Rebellion and ‘A Knight of the Seven kingdoms’.
