Ozark Renewed For Season 2 By Netflix (Official)

Netflix have wasted no time in granting a season 2 to their original crime thriller.

The show was so successful in its debut season it gained many comparisons to hit AMC show (and undoubtedly one of the greatest shows of recent years) Breaking Bad. Ozark follows financial advisor Martin ‘Marty’ Byrde [Jason Bateman] who secretly relocates his family to the Missouri Ozarks when his dealings with a drug cartel go awry.

Season 2 will release 2018 and is confirmed to have 10 episodes, like many other Netflix Original shows, Netflix will make all 10, hour long episodes available to stream immediately. Will you be binge viewing?

Netflix are confident in the success of the cartel show which also attracted an awful lot of viewers and WILL leave the door open for a potential third season in 2019. Yes, it looks like OZARK is here to stay, unlike other successful Netflix shows which shockingly didn’t get granted renewals.

The streaming service announced this on their official press website, see the confirmation for yourself here
