We’ve yet to have official confirmation for ‘Broken’ season 2, but it’s looking increasingly likely as the shows producers are meeting with the BBC regarding a season 2 of the Sean Bean starred drama.
In terms of numbers, ‘Broken’ could certainly have a second season. Each of the six episodes of the premiere season had a reach of 5 million viewers, this stands the show in good stead for the upcoming negotiations. The talks lead by LA Productions will take place next month, so it may be a while before we find out if the show has been officially renewed.
Founder Colin McKeown believes that the viewing figures will help the process out a lot. Read what he said below to the Liverpool Echo.
“It’s a solid number. It won its slot. I have a meeting with the BBC in August. We’re definitely up for it.”

He also added he was incredibly pleased by the ‘unprecedented positivity’ in the show’s feedback. He said:
“What’s wowed all of us is the unprecedented positivity of the feedback. We have been scratching our heads about that. You do your best to tell a story you want to tell.”
