Netflix Cancel ‘Girlboss’ After Only One Season – Not Returning For Season 2

Netflix have added yet another popular show to their growing list of growing cancellations alongside ‘Sense8’ and ‘The Get Down’. This time they’ve added ‘Girlboss’ to that list.

The hit comedy-drama from Netflix ‘Girlboss’ was recently confirmed that it would not return for a second season, much to the disappointment of fans.

The series was inspired by the New York Times Bestseller called #Girlboss by writer Sophia Amoruso. The series will definitely not be coming back as it will not be offered to anyone else to continue.

Speaking of her cancelled series, Sophia Amoruso said:

“So that Netflix series about my life got canceled. While I’m proud of the work we did, I’m looking forward to controlling my narrative from here on out. It was a good show, and I was privileged to work with incredible talent, but living my life as a caricature was hard even if only for two months. Yes, I can be difficult. No, I’m not a dick. No, someone named Shane never cheated on me. It will be nice to someday tell the story of what’s happened in the last few years. People read the headline, not the correction, I’ve learned.”
