Pirates Of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge: Directors Hoping To Recreate The Magic Of The Original

The directors of upcoming installment to the Pirates Of The Caribbean movie franchise have revealed that in making their new movie, the Norwegian duo wanted to rejuvenate the Disney series and take inspiration from its roots.

The Norwegian duo, Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning, revealed that in the making of the heavily anticipated new movie they took inspiration from the very first ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ movie, below read what Joachim Ronning said regarding the first film.

“My favorite is the first [POTC], It [was key] to really analyse why it became a success.”

With the previous installments of the huge franchise had poor ratings, the two directors are hoping to recapture the imagination that made the first movie, The Curse Of The Black Pearl as popular as it was.

Ronning claimed that the original 2003 movie was:

“A combination of comedy, spectacle and heart”

Speaking of what will be changed in the new movie he said:

“It was important to go back to the same dynamic that the first movie had where Jack is not really the main character,” “I wanted a story about real people, real characters – and then Jack Sparrow comes in and crashes the party every now and again.”
