After reading the scripts for season 8 of ‘The Walking Dead’, Carl actor Chandler Riggs took to Twitter to praise on what he had read.

He posted the tweets on Wednesday 16th April.  Carl is one of the only remaining characters from season one to survive all the way to season 8.

Chandler wrote in separate Tweets:

“just finished reading 8×01 of twd and oooo man it’s good”

“but tbh the coolest part of every year for me is between the airing of the season finale and getting the first script of the new season”

“mainly bc i get to speculate with fans on what will happen without any bias”

Though we should not imminently this will be the best season, hopefully Chandler will inject some confidence in fans that the show will get back to its best after quite a disappointing season 7 in truth, according to ratings, which were a record low in the show’s history.
