‘The Walking Dead’ Star Actor Norman Reedus Receives Huge Pay Increase: How Does This Compare To ‘Game Of Thrones’ Actors?

It was recently announced that Norman Reedus who plays fan favorite Daryl Dixon will recieve a substantial pay rise for his seventh year working on ‘The Walking Dead’

Reliable source revealed that the 47-year-old actor had spoke with the show executives about a pay raise. This season, Norman Reedus will take home $550,000 per episode. And in season 8, the amount will increase to $650,000 per episode.

In contrast, the top 5 highest earning actors from ‘Game Of Thrones’ (Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Nikolai Coster-Waldau, and Lena Headey) will take home 1.1 Million Dollars per episode of the upcoming two seasons of the HBO medieval-fantasy drama. This will make it the highest paying TV show (Per episode) of all time, with sitcom Friends in second place.

However, Reedus will eventually earn more than  GoT actors as he will feature in a substantial amount more episodes than Game Of Thrones actors. The Walking Dead is showing no signs of slowing down and is seems that AMC want to keep the show running for as long as possible as it is by far their most popular show and it makes them the most money. Game Of Thrones however will end at the conclusion of its season 8 but there has been talk of a prequel.
