The new season of The Walking Dead is vast approaching, and airs this October. Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd claims the new villain, Negan, will prove to be a “Gamechanger” in the season to come.

Over past seasons fans have seen antagonists come and go, most notably The Governor (Who was played by British actor David Morrissey). Negan, portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is a completely different type of villain, and possibly even worse. In the finale of Season 6, we seen Negan kill a fan favorite character in the very last scene, of whom we do not know who it is. Executive show producer for The Walking Dead said this “In this new season Negan is the gamechanger, and whatever we did someone was going to be unhappy… so we promised we will be picking up where that left off; we are not going to draw it out,” Gale explained.

Also being interviewed with Gale, was Michael Cudlitz, who plays the cool Abraham Ford in the show, a character who could potentially have been killed by Negan in the season finale. Michael said “It was also tough for the other actors in the scene,” Cudlitz said, “watching the reactions of the others knowing that “all of our heroes are in peril.”
