Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates – Review 2016 (Spoiler Free) | DragonFeed

Review by Robert Voss

General Plot: Mike (Adam DeVine) and Dave (Zac Efron) are two young, loving and adventurous brothers. The two tend to get out of control during their family gatherings. Their sister, Jeanie, reveals her plans for a Hawaiian wedding, the family insist that the two brothers bring dates. Following an ad placement on craigslist, they decide to choose a charming couple of women named Tatiana and Alice. The two brothers find the true personalities of their companions when they reach their destination.

In all honesty, a very poor film. A Bad, cheesy story. It’s a good film if you like a light-hearted, easy to watch and a quite funny movie, but this just wasn’t for me. There were a few parts, especially at the beginning which were very funny. This film is very crude and about 95% of the jokes used in this film are unoriginal and directly copied from other films.

The acting isn’t incredible but it’s good. I didn’t spot any mistakes  personally but i’m sure there are loads of continuity errors in there. The characters are unrealistic and a couple are slightly likable at best. The script is filled with unnecessary cliche’s. Most of the scenes in this film were completely unneeded and did not at all accelerate the story-line.

Overall, I could say many poor things about this film in this review but I can’t as it’s spoiler free, but trust me, this is not at all a film worth watching, save your money. As I said above, if you like a light-hearted, easy to watch and a quite funny movie this might be for you.
